I'm on PC Steam playing with keyboard and mouse (Version 1.1-1226). Wondering desperately how to fix my problem.
I haven't had any game play problems until super recently.
I'm almost done going through the Cave of Memories (have acquired 4 of 5 Gort's memories). I've been planting a bunch of mushroom trees and placing lots of decor I found from the Cave all on my farm. Now all of a sudden, I wake up to a black background at the start of each new day. When I reboot my game, my house looks like it has reverted to the very first day of the game (but nothing else has changed). When I exit my house, the outside is normal. When I go back into my house, it fixes itself. I don't know how to fix this bug/glitch. It's really affecting my progress in the Cave of Memories.
I even removed the overabundance of mushroom trees and decorations. Please Help!

I've tried just immediately going back to sleep when I load my game but I don't wake up to a black background that way. I have to go through a full normal day routine and then it happens the next morning I wake up. The only way I finished the last 25 floors of the Cave of Memories in one day was using ropes (since I couldn't resume my progress from the last floor I got to the previous day after rebooting my game - have to go back to floor 100 every morning I reboot the game). What exactly do you need to see in a video? I'm not sure what I'm doing during the day that causes the black background every morning

I hope this issue can be resolved soon. I really miss playing this game but rebooting my save file every morning is very frustrating
