Title: Fruit trees claim they need the 8 tiles around them to be free. I've been able to plant them with only 2 tiles from each side free, except this one tree. No matter how I move, it says I can't plant it
Reproduction Steps: I had planted all these trees at the same time, but couldn't get one to plant. I thought maybe if the trees around it got bigger, I could plant it, but still can't.
Game Platform: Steam PC
Game Version: v1. 1-1226

Hi @willow pagoda! To plant Fruit Trees (Saplings) there must be nothing in a 5x5 tile space (24 surrounding tiles) when you first plant it for the tree to grow, though this can overlap with the 24 surrounding tiles of other trees! After you plant it then you can add other things on top of them 😉
Based on your screenshot above, you need to take out both of these Fruit Plants first, then plant your Fruit Tree in the tile that you choose, then plant the Fruit Plants again 🙂
