hi all, i started out on xbox game pass before i completely fell in love with the game. i bought a steam copy because i want to cancel game pass, and i prefer the steam client over xbox's/microsoft.
would it be possible to transfer my game pass save file to my steam copy? i'm only in summer of year 2 but i don't want to start over after a month's work.

Unfortunately, you're not the first to ask, and not the first that's about to be disappointed:
It's possible, but you'll get a worse result because you'll turn the save into a ticking time bomb. People who transfer their files in this way will discover two weeks, two seasons, two years down the line that their file has corrupted and it's set them back to whenever they were when they transferred the file. If that's not enough of a deterrent, you also get disqualified by the devs for any bug or crash support for obvious reasons.
If you want to change the platform you play on, you'll have to start over 😅
