Sea animal hearts

I'm at the last quest of the sea offerings. I need Large milk of the seacow, but I don't get any hearts with any of the sea animals, so it's impossible to get it. I've bought everything I can and have everything on iridium level for my sea farm. I even use auto petters etc. I'm playing on PS5.

Yes, but the problem with the hearts were before I put autopetter en autocollectors in de barns.

Do you have a tempurature controller too? I didnt realize the underwater barn needed one too and wasnt gaining hearts since I didnt have one in winter

No, I'll try it. But I've underwater animals almost 1 year IG and I don't get any hearts ven in other seasons.

Don't put auto collector in your underwater barn, underwater barn only can put temperature machine and auto petter

I have an auto collector in my underwater barn and it works fine, what is happening when you try to use one?

oh actually I do remember an issue now where I couldnt click the auto collecter when I had it placed close to the gate, but I moved it further back towards the seagrass and can click it fine now. Is that what you're talking about? Like you couldnt even open the collector?

How long has it been since you first got the underwater animals and it didn't give you any hearts? Has it been 1-2 seasons? 😮

All seasons, it's now the 4th. I placed the temperature machines and have the auto collector and auto petter, I've received hearts now. Only the sea cows were unhappy, because the barn had 4 (overcrowded), so the hearts dropped to 0. I've 2 left. So for me the report can be closed. 🙂 Thank you!

I'll have to take a look at this with the teams, and hopefully, we can find the cause of these 0 hearts for underwater animals! 😊

It seems underwater animals are unhappy without a heater in any season. I initially got mine in winter so it made sense then. I removed the heater though and the next day they were immediately unhappy and its currently Fall. Im unsure if this is a bug or feature tbh because I do remember a dialogue line with one of the merfolk about the waters being cold there which is what gave me the idea that maybe they need the heater year round?

Thanks for sharing this. I've rechecked this with the teams, and yes they need a temperature machine all the time otherwise they'll get cold. This is the intended design
