Hi, I wanted to know if it is possible to copy some game folders to have a save point older than the last 10 days.
I need a way to accomplish that before I get married and have kids with a character.
Between getting all the hearts and events with the character, I'm pretty sure it will be more than 10 days and I want to experience marriage with other characters without literally starting another 90 hour playthrough.
I already tried to copy most of the folders I found and sent them to my sister's PC but it doesn't work.
Is there no way or am I missing something?

Locating save file -
Steamdeck
For steamdeck, your save file is most likely stored in the 'compatdata' directory.
The filepath is: /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata
For Coral Island, its the folder with the number 1158160
Enter that folder, and then navigate to the pfx folder, then drive_c folder. Follow this path:
Users<username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames.
the save file name should be something like this
Dailysave_0.sav
finding backup save file
Backup save file folder is located in the savegames folder, its named 'Backup'
you can check your backup save file there, it might be limited and you gotta find out which save is which.
Copy pasting save file 🗃️
note: If you plan to copy/paste a save file, you'd better turn off your network for awhile. so the auto sync doesn't mess with it
- copy the save that you wanna copy to somewhere outside savegames folder
- rename it by changing the numbers. For example:
Dailysave_0.savInto:Dailysave_1.sav
Dailysave_2.savAnd so on- after changing the name, you can put it in savegames folder
- run the game like usual
- you can connect back to your network
Manually loading backup save file
If you wanna load it, copy it somewhere, then change the save file name as the format shown above
Alternative if you just want to load a backup in-game
