Reproduction Steps: Every time you invite an NPC to hang out, and that NPC is currently in a building, if the hangout location ends back at the NPCs starting location, the building will have no graphics, but any NPCs in the building can be seen. For example, if you go to the beach shack and invite an NPC to the cinema, you will return back to the beach shack and the building will be black, and you will have to navigate your way out and once out of the building, the graphics come back.
Repro Rate: Every time when asking an NPC to hang out when they are currently inside a building UNLESS you invite them to the bamboo forest or observatory as these hang outs end at the hang out location, not inside the original building.
