freeze then crash every time i leave the carpenter or speak to goddess

**reproduction steps- ** after speaking to goddess, exit lake temple offering area, then it happens. when in carpenter, ask to build new building, then once you exit the carpenters' house, it crashes.
repro rate- it happens each time, tried to do it again multiple times and then just gave up trying to play
game platform - pc game pass
game version - v1.1-1227
input mode - gamepad/controller
pc and gpu specs -Ryzen 5 3600 (3.6GHZ), AMD Radeon RX 6600 (8GB VRAM)
~~ Can't seem to find my saved data or the crash logs in my AppData folder for some reason... Still able to launch the game and see that my save is there and accessible.

Took this clip of the goddess crash and the end of the vid shows the fatal error notif that pops up. I just made the clip 3x speed because the game stays frozen for quite a while before crashing.

about to head out so i cant boot up the game again for now to take the clip of the carpenter exit crash, but it basically happens the same way with the game freezing (with the music still going) and then crashing after a minute or so. then the notif comes up with the fatal error

Hi, I booted up the game again now and for some reason the carpenter crash isn't happening anymore! But yes, previously, it was happening the same way but only if I exited after trying to get something new built on the farm
