#The environment in the lab turns all black after hanging out with Surya

I asked Surya to hang out while he's working in the lab. When we finished, we went back to the lab and the environment just turns black. The NPCs are there, along with some lab equipment. After I went out to the town and go back in, it turns back to normal.
