#Am I locked out of the main story now?

I have had the same cutscene, where Karen wants to become mayor, four times now. Once on the day I unlocked the dig site, and I got no cutscene for that, which seems to suggest that maybe that cutscene triggered instead of the cutscene showing off the dig site.

It went on like this: first I got that "Karen for mayor" cutscene, then I got the ones where she visits the various shops around town and tells them to vote for her, and then the "Karen for mayor" cutscene started repeating once in a while.

I am starting to think that I'll never get to see what happens afterwards because my game is borked up. Is there anything I can do for this? Is this a known issue?

Same with my gameplay with no dig site animation and Karen Mayor CS keeps replaying, but other than that things are fine. I think the dig site just has no CS, and the KAren Mayor CS is bugged.

If you check bugs, it's a known issue. Devs are working on it. Your game will still progress normally.
