Hugging Alice causes temp freeze

• Title
  When I interact with Alice, specifically a hug or kiss action, when she has her book out the game temporarily softlocks. I’m unable to move, open menus, or interact with Alice again. Eventually the lock stops (probably the length of time the hug and/or kiss animation takes) and I’m able to move and interact without issue.

• Reproduction Steps

1. Approach Alice while she is reading a book
2. Press X to “Ask”
3. Select “Hug” or “Kiss”

• Repro Rate
  Every time I’ve tried, game is fully updated

• Game Platform
  Through Steam on a Steamdeck!

• Game Version
  v1.1-1226

• Input Mode
  Steam Deck as controller!

I also want to correct my initial report- I am able to open menus! Movement and continued interaction does stop though. I am also able to use the bumpers or touch pad to scroll through inventory without issue.

That's helpful! To help our team take a look at this issue closer, could you share your SaveGames folder in a zip file as well?

For Steam Deck, your save file is most likely stored in the 'compatdata' directory.
The file path is /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata.

From there, you will see many folders with random numbers. The Coral Island folder should have the code number '1158160'.
Enter that folder, then navigate to the pfx folder, then drive_c folder. Follow this path: Users<username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames. Thanks a lot!
