Unable to interact with lvl 40 mine stones

• **Reproduction Steps: this is my third save file and first save where I'm experiencing issues interacting with the mine rock things on level 40 that unlock the little monster guys. I've played the game before and unlocked them, but there seems to be a bug when trying to get the cutscene to unlock the monster guys. I've tried restarting, going in the next day, rebinding controls, but it seems to be a bug. I can't even interact/observe the rock on level 40.

Repro Rate: every time i try to go to level 40 of the first and second mine rooms. The first time i go there in the day, it will pop up "interact" but after that the eyeglass icon is 'grayed" out and I can't try to interact with the rock.

-Game platform: Steam on PC

-Game Version: 1 -1.226

This might be a dumb question... But have you met the chieftain, and do you have the quest to do this?

Because if you have not met the chieftain, you can't free the giant - because if you did, you would have a cutscene with the chieftain thanking you for doing as he asked which is impossible because he hasn't yet asked you to do it.

Never a dumb question! i have finished the mythical dream quest and have finished the fire and water levels, but at both sacred stones, i can't interact with them to break the spell which makes me think i'm missing something or there's a bug? I met with Chieftain and can understand the signs, but I haven't had him pop up with grogi when i leave the mines after completing level 40

You met the chieftain, he sent you to the goddess, did you talk to him again after that which is when he asks you to help free them?

basically, do you have the "Free the Earth Giant" quest in your quest log

YOU ARE THE BEST! i didn't do the offering (i was being lazy) and didn't realize that was what was needed to move forward to break the curse. it's working now - thank you!! this is everyone's reminder to NOT skip the offering lol

Offerings are good! they get you access to hot springs!

Hi arianna! Yes, yes. You will need to complete the quest "Temple Offering" and get the "Petrified Giant I" quest to interact with the Stones. Glad that it's working now, thanks for keeping us updated!
