#Game Crashing at Save (PC)
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Hi Harrow! Thanks for sharing your issue in the Questions and Help channel! I’ve screenshotted your thread so my co-workers can better understand the context.
To help us troubleshoot the game crash, we’ll need two things from you:
- Your computer specs: You can follow this guide to check your specs: https://techguided.com/how-to-check-your-computer-specs/
- Crash log: You can find it here:
C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes (look for the .xml file).
Having this information will help us tremendously in troubleshooting the crash you have as each crash can be caused by different reason. Once we have that, my co-workers will take a closer look and help resolve the issue!
Thanks a lot, Harrow! 🙏
Really appreciate your help with this. 😊
Here's my specs @mint obsidian , working on the crash thing now!
actually unsure how to pull up the crash
I'd like to add some details I think I realized: These crashes have happened every time I use a special item that allows me to teleport, and i go to the savannah. I go into the mines there, i stay til around 11, i use the same item to warp home, i run around and put things in my storage chests, go to bed, then game crashes
Unsure if this is helpful or not. I tend to do the same thing everyday so this is very accurate
Hi Harrow, thanks for sharing! But I noticed you haven't shared your CPU and GPU info, can you share that with us? 😮
As to locate the crash log, you can access the it by copy-paste this file path into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes then filter the date to the recent one, and send the .xml file here!
This is helpful, thanks! Can you let us know what is the "special item" that you use? Is it perhaps warp sesajen? 😮
Ah, I see! You should be able to see this bunch of folders after copying and pasting the link I gave you. Can you share a screenshot of what you found so we can help you? 😮
With windows, The path for the saved data crashes is:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes
Note: This is on windows 11, and should also apply on windows 10.
