sometimes this happens, there isn’t really a reproduction way but randomly it’ll be stuck on the saving screen, and never gets off. like i’ll “go to bed” and it never lets me out, thusly i lose the day’s progress. it recently happened when i went to sleep in the barracks at 12:20am or so, the last time it was like 11pm or so.

Can you let us know how long have you been playing your SteamDeck before the issue persists? You also mentioned it happens randomly, does this "random" issue always happen when you go to sleep? 😮

it really is random timing wise, because i was playing for about an hour or so when i posted about it this time, and usually it can withstand like 14 hrs without crashing 
but the issue does always happen when i fall asleep, though like i think 30min after that crash, it had me stuck in the chest storage screen before crashing again (which has never happened before)

Did your Steam Deck get hotter when you had the crash? Did you also get a crash log after it happened? 😮

yes to my steam deck getting hot, it usually runs warm when i'm playing but i have it running on the old fan settings (so it sounds like a plane taking off lol /j)
though I'm not sure if I got a crash log? I can try looking for where the crash logs are the next time I have my steam deck and give you a more concrete answer
