I exited the waters before clearing the path. Now all of them looks cleared, but I can't keep going down. Anyone have any tips? Edit: i’m silly

First question: "can't keep going down" meaning... What? You can't use the ship to go diving? You can't explore further? Unclear what your issue is.
If you cannot dive at all, try resetting the anchor (at the boat) and diving again.
If you can dive, but cannot figure out a way to continue pathing forward... A lot of the ocean paths are shortcuts that open later. Sometimes you clear an area and it opens up a path somewhere else for you to continue. In most cases it shouldn't be too hard to find a new area you can access, but sometimes it requires backtracking.
You can check Bee's diving map/guide if you'd like to see what the ""ideal"" route with minimal backtracking is. Compare that map with your in-game map, see if you are missing any of the beacons that route passes by.

i’m not able to go through for the last three even though all the other ones are yellow in the area (17/20). I get a message when touching the black veins that just says in general that i have to fix the others before i can pass through.

First time I went through the ocean, when I hit a wall I'd literally just wander everywhere and eventually make it through.
Saves after that, I had Bee's map open and if I hit a wall rather than blindly guessing I'd just glance at that <_<
