basement production speed slime replicator ps5

I’ve noticed the slime replicator is not producing ores as quickly as it does with kelp while placed in the basement. I compared to one placed outside in the farm and they finished at the same speed, where as kelp produces much faster in the basement than on the farm. I tried searching for similar issues others might be having and didn’t see anything yet, so apologies if this is a duplicate. It’s been this way since I unlocked the basement which was within this last update.
