So, I manage to get through a day, harvest everything, pet all the animals, process everything, gift favorite npcs, even clear fire cave up to level 30 and manage to drop all of the processed items into the shipping bin around 1:40 game time. Go to save and get the good ole crash inbetween "saving" and "game saved". Making all of that progress null and void.
This is my 9th crash at the same point of almost getting to the next day, if it would just say game saved only for it to crash and try to redo it all. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I don't get many days off from my job, and this has me pretty bummed out cause I just wanted to enjoy it by playing this game...Xbox player

This has been happening to me too, over the past week. I've gotten down 25 more levels in the cave of memories 3 times only to have it crash and wipe out all my progress. Makes me put the game down for the rest of the day every time. So frustrating.

It definitely is happening more frequently. Like you know you got a great haul for the day, osmium quality and all, fossils, nodes, levels, rank ups but then it all comes down to whether the game will crash when you save or not. There's no autosave feature, no way to have it resume the game where it crashed at, just dashboarded and then poof, you try the game again and get some gold items cause the rng gods give you the middle finger for the do over, and then you manage to end that day with crap loot in caves. It's a real setback. Tweaking little game fixes is great and all like dialogues or how the mermaid tail/top skin would give you a weird deformed neck, but the daily progress loss multiple times in a row when trying to save is a major gamebreaker for most gamers. Especially when you've only got limited time to play.

Normally on Xbox it saves the day correctly, but closes the game after sleeping.

On a PC, it could be a lack of free space on the hard drive or a hardware problem. If you have access to the crash log, this could help you find the problem.
