Hi there, im in Y1, Fall and my pet fox Remykins is now mysteriously just glitching. His shadow is all that remains, and honestly this is super hard hitting since I named this pet after my dog that recently passed away. Since this shadow figure is a bit close to home metaphorically speaking, is there a solve to bring him back? Let me know what else I can answer to help guide. :/ Thank you 🩷

This is actually has been reported by others, but unfortunately, we haven't been able to replicate it 
Can you let us know your full activities before encountering this bug? What platform did you play the game on?

Thank you @kindred tartan! Truthfully, there were not many activities that happened before seeing this take effect.
It was likely Fall, Year 1, Day 13 or 14:
Before falling asleep that same day, I sorted some items across my chests as I was preparing for what items to save for the Fall Festival.
I have about x10 stone chests so I was just shuffling through them.
Nothing big or impactful that I can recall.
Should/can I export a save file or duplicate it in some way to pass to you?
.. interestingly enough, i just logged in after a nights rest (12-15 hrs passed since closing down the game) to see if there was a way to "track" my last activities or jog my memory and... my pet is back! 💞

And yes, you can share your save file with us so our teams can take a look 
You can copy-paste this file path into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames. It's the DailySave.sav file!

Hi hi! If you're playing on Steam, you can copy-paste this file path into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved, zip the SaveGames folder and send them here!

Does the issue happen as soon as you load your save file? Or have you been able to play a few in-game days before waking up and suddenly your pets are invisible? 😮

I had played a few in-game days before this happened. However, I closed the game after seeing this to send you the file. When I reopened the game I no longer had the issue (so still on spring 14th). So maybe it's something that randomly occurs? 🤔

Ohh I’m not sure I remember what I was doing in-game. Not in-game related, but I’m pretty sure I tabbed out of the game or accessed my other monitor before starting the new day. I’ve often done this, so I don’t believe that would be the issue though

i literally just adopted my pet walked inside and it was just a shadow, it was a stormy day. no clue if that matters

I have had this happen before, but rebooting the game fixed it. Couldn't just go to the menu and re-enter the save, had to entirely restart the game. But after that my dog did return

Related, I started a new game and from the beginning all the cats have been invisible. I can interact with and see Peanut and Butter but any adoptable cats I cannot see. If I happen to walk by one of them, a button pops up to interact but it always says they are busy.
I am on an xbox one series x. I am now on Year 2, winter 8 and nothing has changed regarding the cats. I have tried rebooting, hard quitting, and uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

Kia ora team, nice to see I'm not the only one with an invisible cat! Came here to say that my cat has turned invisible today (19 Spring Y2) after not doing much except harvesting my crops first thing in the morning. I'm sure my dog is probably invisible too, but still able to interact with them. I am on Steam and downloaded the recent update easily, but this isn't the only bug I have encountered. Have not had any bugs until today so good work (:
Edit: Just checked, yes my dog is invisible too!
