Ps. Specific for Ocean Content (Underwater farm notably), you can access it sooner before reaching town rank A, as per the new update

Players now unlock the ocean farm sooner. Three days after completing the Roots Above quest, you’ll receive a letter from King Krakatoa, summoning you to Naga Castle.

[Ocean] - Underwater farm, and Song of the Sea questline.

  • You have to get a king's letter to access the underwater farm.

Players now unlock the ocean farm sooner. Three days after completing the 'Roots Above' quest, you’ll receive a letter from King Krakatoa, summoning you to Naga Castle.
note: after you unlock the underwater farm, you can visit Cho Oyu in the Oracle chamber to get your underwater farm necessities. eg: Lumina sprinkler, underwater seeds upgrade etc

  • Visit Ling & Cho Oyu, and get the 'Song of the Sea' questline.
  • There is a place to offer goods in each area of the ocean, The shell icon on the map is the exact location. Once you finish the offering of 10m and 20m area, you can purchase the Underwater ranching animal; Mermoos, Seashroud, etc from Slamet! (meet him at the west side of Merfolk kingdom on his stall)
    After you complete the last underwater offering, you will get the weather conch recipe. It allows you to change the weather for the next day.

Post town rank A Content

  • Getting Cutscene where Pufferfish leaves town for good.
  • Get a letter from the mayor on a sunny day, and go to the Community Center to be officially Town Rank A (Must not be festival day/ Winter festival).

The town rank board only would be updated after you get the said cutscenes

  • After around 5 game days, you should see a dream cutscene after you sleep, go to the Community Center again (Enter the room where there is your current town rank displayed). You will get the 'Reach town rank S' quest.

Exclamationmark These 3 are the key for getting post-town rank A content.

After you got the 'Reach town rank S' quest. you can start to do as listed below:

[Heritage] - Guardian mural quest

To get the quest, go near the Temple/Lake area
There are 4 Guardians:
-# For the guardian to appear/be able to interact, you have to get the Guardian mural questline active.

  • ||Pandazen||, at the Bamboo forest area.
  • ||King Tan||, at the Deep forest.
  • ||Master Slime||, Inside the forest temple (You need an osmium axe to break the log in front of the temple door).
  • ||Lady Lavanna||, At the Savannah (You can buy Savannah animals; Ostrich and Buffalo from her).
    • Ps: the savannah animals use the same barn as other animal.
      Note: After meeting the guardians, you can use the Rafflesia flower at your farm as a fast-travel to other Rafflesia near the guardians.

[Museum] - Hologram Quest.

You have to complete the fossil collection.
To get the quest, visit the museum (enter the museum, then go right. That's where the fossil sites are).
To finish the quest, you would need Dino prints. You can get that from random chance by breaking Stones, Big stones, Nodes, and Small mushrooms in the Cave of Memories.

[A new category] - Town attraction.

  • Go to the Community center, prepare some items, and submit them. The town will have some new facilities. Some facilities are functional, and some are just decorative.
    functional one is:
  • Some new shops (Recreation center, Ramen shop, Bakery, etc)
  • New hangout spots. (Hot air baloon)
  • Usable recycling center, you can spend trashes there to Gacha and get various rewards. ||Shed appereance|| is one of the rare rewards.

[ FYI & Tips]

  • You will get a letter for Cellar access the next day after you reach town rank A 🔑
    Inside The Cellar and/or shed, Slime of Transmutation/Duplication, and aging barrel works faster! (± 15% faster).
  • You can reach Town Rank A while you haven't completed some offerings or museum donations. Therefore, you must complete All Museum donations and Lake temple offerings to reach Town Rank S.

-[Heritage]-

  • For Guardian mural offerings, you have to offer the same quality of items
    You can use Slime of transmutation to increase item quality.
  • After completing the bundle of a Guardian, visit the guardian of the related completed mural.

**-[Museum]- **

  • The drop rate of the Dino print is random, there are no certain floor levels to get a specific Dino print in Savannah Cave.
  • You can duplicate Dino prints, and murex (and some other beach scavenge-able) using slime of duplication
    This means you only need to collect one of each Dino prints
    And Murex is required for mixing aka crafting underwater seeds
  • Once you complete one Set of holograms, you can get a dinosaur skin for your ranching animal! (Including some underwater ranching animals)
    You can buy more of them in the concerned Ape Shop

-[Ocean]-

  • In case you were looking for ocean questline orders to reach Ocean rank A: #🙊coral-spoilers message
  • Looking for solar core? you can get solar fragments from random chance by breaking trash, and sandstone in the ocean, daily loot from Savannah Cave, or buy them from Cho Oyu
  • Beach scavangable (Scavangable that can be found on the beach) Even though some beach scavengeable can be found in the ocean, they would still count as beach scavangable. Those and Salt can't be used as upgrade material at Cho Oyu's R&D.
  • You need a scarecrow underwater.
    -# _ _ Those crows are evolving! they wear scuba equipment now /j. Its Otter
  • You need Temperature machine for your underwater barn
  • Weather on land doesn't affect underwater ranching animals, so you can let them out every day without any worries
  • You can only have 2 Mermoos maximal per barn, Otherwise they will be cranky.

This took me a while to figure out: Put temperature machines in underwater barn! Unless you want unhappy animals...

A couple questions- do the aging barrels have to be in the cellar to work faster? Also, do you have to complete the fossil collection to start the Hologram quest?

Yes, either in the shed or cellar to get faster
And, as in my experience, you just have to reach townrank A. But yes, to be safer, completing the fossil section would guarantee you to be able getting hologram quest.

PHEW! Good, I have my aging barrels in a shed. I have rank A, but I am still missing a couple of fossils. I will work on finishing that collection next!

For the Dino prints, are there different rarities and/or are certain ones on certain floors or something perhaps? I've gotten all of the other prints without even replicating but still have not gotten a single mammoth print

I did finally get a mammoth print and replicated it BTW. It's surprising to me that it's completely random because I was definitely getting certain fossil prints wayyyyy more often than others. I think I got like 30 plesiasaurus prints
