So I have to be town rank A and have my ocean farm to be able to marry Semeru?
Also what's the best advice to ranking up my town rank because I'm currenting at B?

The best way to increase your town rank is to increase your other ranks - Heritage, Ocean and Museum. Town rank is a combination of the other three; and unlike some people believe, merit points have no relation to town rank as it is solely a currency.

If I recall correctly, no, but you do need to have completed the Chaperone quests? I’m not the best person to ask in that regard tbh

I just finished all my temple offerings just then but my heritage is still not max. What else is there to do with heritage?

Is your heritage at A? Even partway through?

Then focus on the other ones - max rank is S but those involve questlines that unlock after town rank A
