semeru stuck on 8 hearts

So basically I completed all the expedition quests and have received my underwater farm. Throughout the 2nd expedition I proposed to semeru to be my boyfriend, and after i remained stuck on 8 hearts with him no matter how many of his loved gifts I give him.

I am big sad 😦

Do you give it every time you have a chance to do it (every week)?

i give him any type of wine that i have happened to make twice a week, usually they are osmium quaility. I have received a reef burger from him that i gifted back to him LOL. I also talk to him everyday too as well

I'll add that to the note. Do you happen to have a video of when you try to increase the heart level? Perhaps when you give the love gift and when you talk to him?

Did you notice any blue dots appear in the relationship Journal after you gave it to Semeru?

I am stuck at 7 hearts. For a couple seasons now. I have completed the chaperone quests. But I have not gotten the underwater farm. Is that a prerequisite? I have seen up to 6 hearts of heart point videos as well. There is not one for 7 that I know of

I also tried wemod to get my relationship points up but no luck there either.

I can add my save tomorrow if I can figure out how

I have steam, but I do not know how to compress files to zip. I have been at 7 hearts with semeru since yr 1 fall I am in year 2 summer now still at 7.

Hi @violet cypress and @naive swallow! Our team has checked this and we can increase Semeru's heart to 9 without any issue. We've also used your save files for testing.
Could you please try again to talk to Semeru every single day and also give his favorite items every week you get the chance?

Every heart level has different Heart Point Requirements, therefore, you might need a longer process to gain 9 and 10 heart levels.

If you feel that the issue still persists, could you please mention how many days you've talked with Semeru and how many times also the type of items you've gift to him? Thank you!

Oh, glad to hear that you've got Semeru's Heart to 10! May I ask if you previously talked to him every single day when you felt that his heart level was stuck?
