ocean caves

So i recently spoke to cho oyu and she was saying about the ocean caves i started to explore one but i didn't find really much and it confuses me so I'm basically asking like what they are for and what you can find in them

Ocean caves are for collecting trash, coffers, nodes. Later in the game, you'll need a lot of them for the museum collection or the recycling center gachapon

So there isn’t really a „final room“ in the caves?

The ‘final room’ just ends up being whichever one eventually does not spawn any new paths/doorway
