Hello I haven’t played my Coral Island in a long time like 10 months or so because I was too busy with my new job so the last time I played it It was still on early access. Will I go back to the start if I update my game now? Like am I going to lose my money and my animals? Thank you for answering 🙏

the transition from early access into version 1.0 was indeed ... big
the save isnt compatible anymore :(
so if you still have a save from early access , you can do a newgame +. Basically you start a new game, but total earning from that save will carry into the newgame
1.0 and forward the save will always be compatible and there wont be more reset.
