Crashing after saving

I’ve been playing most of the day, and I’ve noticed 4/6 times it saves, the game crashes.
While it does save it’s a little annoying to have to reboot the game after every day

Update: I am up to 7 crashes just today 9/9/2024

Usually it’s during the loading process from the saved point to the next day

It's nothing wrong whit save system, The problem is not after sleeping, it corrupts the game after leaving the house, where a "loading" is done to enter the farm. There is no "crash" when you sleep right after waking up without leaving the house.

Idk I classify it as a crash if I literally have to reboot the whole game bc it went to the Home Screen, a crash

Also, it happens right after it saves.
Doesn’t go to the new day or anything. Just black screen and then home screen

Oh don’t worry I’ve been reporting this crash (on Xbox) since august and seems like others are reporting crashes with the winter trivia game back in April and it happened to me recently so looks like they’re not doing anything to fix crashes.

Now the game won’t even open. This is my 8th attempt

It's a "crash", but not the cause of the "crash". Try to sleep right after waking up, without leaving the house. Normally the "crash" doesn't happen, only if the save is already very "heavy".

That’s not the point of the game though ☠️
The point is to just go out and do stuff then be able to sleep if I wanted a sleeping game I’d get one

This is obvious, I'm saying it in technical terms so that you can understand what's going on and pass information to the team so they can fix the problem.

I know what the issue is. I’m just saying what I’ve been going through.
If it’s been happening since April I doubt it’s gonna get fixed any time soon. I’m just playing until Stardew gets ported to console

I highly doubt it will be fixed any time soon, even though they already have all the information about the problem and how to fix it.

I'm also Xbox S, my game started crashing after saving every night. Then crashed right before it saved the days progress. Now I'm stuck on day 18 of Summer year 2. I've tried 9 times to get past this day, today it soft crashed mid day then completely crashed while talking to a npc in the tavern close to 9pm.

I’m in year 3 summer (don’t know what day maybe 5)
My crashes thankfully always saved but now it won’t open. It seems like loading is the problem.
Whether it was loading for the next day after the save or loading into the game. It’s a shame.

Unfortunately I’m about to uninstall the game and tell people not to purchase it anymore.

You can try restart a new game, whit some tips, this "crashs" not happen anymore. It's sad restart but this way you can still playing.
