#My saved game is gone again :(

Had an issue with my saved file yesterday. Recovered my file using Steam Cloud Storage and renamed my backup file to DailySave_0.sav, but now it happened again. Only this time my backup file is still the one from yesterday 😭 Anyone who can help me pls?

Also, can you check if your Steam Cloud for Coral Island is already on? You can do that by right-clicking the Coral Island in Steam's library > click Properties > General > Steam Cloud. Thank you!

Hi Rachma, thank you for the help!

  • Yes the save file is missing on the in-game save list too. I'm a bit confused, because I just opened the game again and my progress from last night (9 sept) is gone again (it somehow keeps happening 😭 ). I double-checked yesterday night after closing the game and the save file was updated accordingly. However, when I just started it up again it somehow overwrote it or something and is back to the latest file of 8 sept.
  • I've been grinding the game a little bit the last few days but if I remember correctly the first time disappeared sometime after unlocking the diving area. Yesterday I stopped at spring 26 (now my latest file is of spring 23), I continued clearing the diving area and ketting silver kelp. Expanded my farming with sprinklers 1 and scarecrow 2.
  • My Steam Cloud for Coral Island is also already on.

Hello Poepie! Oh no, that sounds frustrating. Could you let us know if the save file reverted to the previous day after restarting the game or your device?

To help our team investigate, would it be possible to share some screenshots or videos of the issue?

You can capture:

  • The in-game day when you're about to sleep or save the game before closing the application (please include the in-game date).
  • A screenshot of your Steam Cloud on that day.
  • Another capture showing the reverted in-game day when you open the game again, along with an updated screenshot of your Steam Cloud save list.
