Asking anyone who has finished the Cave of memories Quest line. I’m very worried I have messed it all up! But first some much needed context, followed by my important questions.
When I first started the quest, I assumed it would be like the other caves, and I needed to reach level 40 at all costs. When I got to level 25 with the title “(checkpoint)” I was confused but otherwise undeterred. I pressed on. I eventually got to level 100 before I started to ask myself some serious questions about how to do this quest. I was honestly not thinking about it too much before then, kinda playing on autopilot and just going as fast as I could. I got so many artifacts, geodes, and loot from my mining. I went through the proper channels of going to the blacksmith and lab. With my newly uncovered loot, I went to the museum for stuff I could donate, and offered the goddess the gems I obtained. The rest I sold...
Here’s where I may have royally messed everything up for myself.
I don’t know what I’m looking for exactly! I know it’s “Gort’s memory fragments” but I have no clue what they look like! And I am completely lost on where they are and how to find them. Does our Farmer do the “found item” animation when we get a fragment? How will I know that I’ve found one?
And my biggest worry of all 
, I think that if I found one already (like from a geode or something) that I sold it. I have sold all the items I got that the offerings and museum weren’t taking. This scares me the most, because if I did find a fragment and thought it was an artifact, I 100% sold it already!
Am I completely screwed now? Will it appear again in the caves?
Please help me understand. If you have found the fragments, please give me a screen shot of the item so I know what to look for.
Are they in the geodes and coffers? Can they be accidently sold? Does the character tell us through an “anim get” animation? Help
