I'm not sure if it is a bug, so sanity checking first.
TLDR - After living on the farm for a bit, Semeru seems to have gone underwater again. Is this expected?
Longer version:
My character got married to Semeru on Fall 13th, Year 2 (don't know if it's relevant but after the wedding cutscene there seemed to be something else that never played. I've got an error message and then proceeded to the next day. No mentions of fainting though).
After the wedding, Semeru has moved to the land farm. About a week from being married, on the 20th, Semeru initially was in the house - as of I woke up and he was next to the bed. And then he disappeared and was nowhere to be found (gray void area on the map). And then he was back in the ocean in merfolk form. He still refers to my character as a spouse, which is promising, and the relationship tab still shows him as a husband. But that night he stayed in the barracks and the next morning, on the 21st, he was there as well. So I'm baffled and afraid to play further in fear of having a corrupt save, which I may not be able to roll back 😦
I did not move any furniture inside the house. The only object I did move was a chest in a new barn (that has finished the day before), and I've also placed two slimes of transmutation.
I did also replay the 20th once (the first time I didn't finish it), with the same result of Semeru disappearing and then going underwater.
- Reproduction Steps If using my safe, then load the day, talk to Semeru first thing in the morning, pet the cat, leave the house to do farm things (sprinklers, farm animals, greenhouse, wine in the keg outside, etc) - and in a couple of hours observe him being in the void. Go give Rysy a birthday gift and observe Semeru underwater.
