Chime like sounds in town

I tried to look this up but didnt find any answers. (Im on year 1 Summer 10 for context) When im in the shop - cemetery area I hear a 10 note chime that repeats randomly when I am in the area. I did not hear this untill the very end of spring/start of summer. No it is not the boat coming in, and no its not the bell for when shops open up in the morning. Does anyone know if its just an annoying sound affect or does it mean something?
