on ps5, collected my new osmium axe and received both my osmium axe and a golden axe. first time this has happened immediately after the new console update.

Similar issue, waited for the notification of my osium bug net being done, waited a few days, went to check cause i never got the notification as the other tools gave.
It was done, picked it up
Got the golden one back instead
No osium
Decided to just get it reupgeaded, double the cost...
Went back to my farm and tada the osium one is in my pack.
But its still working on upgrading the gold one...
Frustrating, i feel like i should restart this day now and things were going so great beyond this😭
Adding to it, restarted the day and i find the golden bug net in my toolbar... ive not been able to cstch bugs for days cause it was being upgraded but the hotfix did something wrong

my tool was in the shop upgrading before the hot fix, when i collected it i was given both my gold and osmium tool. i shoved my gold one in a chest but i don’t have a video as i play on ps5 and didn’t think to clip it! it’s not a game breaking bug ( for me anyway ) but i wanted to make it known. 🫶 i haven’t had this happen post-update with any new upgrades though, for what it’s worth.

For my self its the same story as unsedated, the net was already in the shop to be updated before the hotfix.
My wife also has had the same with her sickle.
But same as unsedated i have no footage of it happening cause playing on the ps5 and not expecting it either...
Well as i said i had the spare net when i loaded up my save on a day restart, so i assume that was the case before as well but was overlooked.
At best i can make a picture now with both jn my inventory?

Hi hi @ruby cargo @olive topaz. I've checked this with the teams, and the duplicate tools happen because there's a Steam bug that caused players to lose their tools after the Tree Planting Festival. For now, you can put your duplicated tools in your chest and I'll make sure the teams are aware of these duplicated tools bugs!
