Merit Points not updated to reach S Rank Town?

Hi everyone! Does anyone experiece the same like me - so i managed to finished all town attractions and afyer sleeping, it shows i have received 650 merit points.

My town had 1400+× merit points, so after 650.. it should be 2000 ish i should unlock the S Rank. The merit points doesnt seem to be added 😦

Merit points do not count toward town rank, I have no idea why people think it does. It's only a currency to use in the merit shop.
