I stopped by Paul's house to give everyone a gift. After I talked to Mark I asked him to hang out with me. We went fishing at the lake. After we were done I wound up back inside Paul's house with no way to escape. I could see Zoe, Mark and Bon Bon sleeping but the camera wouldn't let me pan up to see Paul and Anne.
I hung out until 2 AM so that the game would autosave and I'd be back home. I am playing on a Steam Deck.

Your save file is most likely stored in the 'compatdata' directory. The file path is: /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata.
From there, you will see lots of folder with random number. Coral Island folder should have the code number '1158160'.
Enter that folder, into the pfx folder, then drive_c folder, then follow this path: Users\ <username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames to find your save file! 😉

I am not sure where to find this information. I have gone to the Settings and it's not there. Then I enabled showing my backup saves on my title screen but it doesn't say home/deck/. local/share/steam etc. It just shows the time and date stamp for my save files.

I did! For the picnic if it helps. I was able to escape by flicking my mouse around to find the door, so I re-entered immediately and everything was fine
The only things I had done that day were water my crops, tend to my animals, give Archie a gift, and give Nina a gift

Not exactly, but it was probably between 10-11 in the morning because it takes me a bit to tend to the farm and then I caught Archie on his way to school by the vineyard. I then went straight to Nina’s house, maybe via teleport; I can’t quite remember. I can try to replicate the issue next time I play by trying to hangout at the lake again with her, since I had no issues hanging out at other places with other people (ex: Zarah and fishing in the forest a few days prior)
