I am playing on Xbox series x. It was downloaded from game pass and my save file of over 170 hours is gone. Is there anyway to get them back?

Apparently the company doesn't care, these crashes and errors have been happening since the game's launch over a year ago I believe. They simply ignore the messages about and patch after patch the errors remain

So I am guess no answer or response to losing save files on Xbox then

Can you try going to the setting > changing Show Backup to "yes" > starting a new game until finish the opening cutscene > going back to the save list on the main menu > toggling on the Show Backup on the bottom left side of your screen to see if you're able to find the backup for your missing save file?

I have tried that. It shows nothing

When you mentioned "downloaded from game pass" are you changing console by any chance?

No I am on the Xbox series x. After the file was gone I tried on the pc as well and still no files show up

This happened after I had a lot of crashing after going to sleep and saving

I would go to the house and go to bed to start the next day. Screen would show the progress for that day and goes to the save part. Then I get kicked out of the game to the Xbox Home Screen. Some times it would t save and other times it started the new day when I loaded the game back up

Ah, got it. And this time, when the crash happened and you were taken back to the Xbox home screen then loaded the game again, it's nowhere to be found?

Correct. No save or no back up

Yes this is the new save file. I was in year 3 fall season
