Game freezing/lagging on steam deck

I've been having an issue the past week or 2 where after an in game day or 2 my game will start lagging and then freezing for 15-30 seconds while playing. It most happens when I'm on my farm near the majority of my fish ponds and artisan tools, but can sometimes happen at other parts of the maps. Last night the same thing happened while diving underwater, but this time it didn't unfreeze, and the whole steam deck system/controlls froze and the console force restarted itself on its own before booting back to the library page

At the current moment no, it's happens after random intervals of playing and sometimes resolves before I can get my phone to record. But if I happen to be able to do that, I'll post it

As an extra note, the lagging/freezing is only when I play on my steam deck and not my pc

Can you let us know your game speed setting? Also, do you remember how many real-time hours did you play before it started to freeze? 😮

Did your steam deck get overheated/hot by any chance when the freezing starts to happen? 😮

Actually it sometimes get warmer than normal, but last night when it froze and restarted I remember I feeling much hotter than I've experienced before

I play on 50% speed, and it can be anywhere from 1 hours after booting the game to several hours. And sometimes if I start physically falling asleep before I can save, I'll press the power button to put it into standby until the next morning

I actually just had it freeze and stop responding on my PC too, still the same day as before. No error messages have popped up, just frozen

Can you tell is is the lagging in your Steam Deck and PC is on the same location? 😮

The lagging would happen where I had many of my mason jars/kegs and fish ponds on my steam deck. But sometime would lag in the ocean or around town on both
