Every time I go to bed and it saves it crashes. EVERY time after EVERY save for 2 days.
Makes me not want to play till it’s fixed. I mean I’m glad it’s saving my progress anyways but it’s inconvenient when I’m kicked to the Home Screen of my Xbox after every save and wish going to bed wasn’t the only way to save. I did try to uninstall and reinstall the game and didn’t make any difference.

I see everyone else getting responses but me did I report this wrong? Is it just Xbox gamepass? Will it work properly if I have to buy it? Will there be a statement made publicly or in discord on what you guys are doing to fix all these crashes that’s happening to everyone?

This same thing was happening to me and did so for an entire year in game. Would crash and dashboard me after every save. Last night it started crashing before I can even get in so I can’t even get in the game now.

I bought it and it still crashes - only now, it no longer saves before it crashes. I’ve replayed spring 27th four times in a row. I guess I’m done with this game.

-yes im able to play the game fine till i go to save it or go to bed or “pass out” cuz i lose track of time (in game) it crashes no matter what when the save menu pops up. I get to see what i earned for that day from whatever i sold.

-i have no auto chests yet
-yes i healed the coral tree, i didn’t become a merfolk. Crashing started before i healed the coral tree.
-donated 182 items to museum
-a screenshot has already been provided of my town rank however I did progress since I reported the crash.

I thought about maybe buying it if it’s just a game pass issue but saw people who bought it are also having same issues.

It's not their priority because the PC game works perfectly, which is their target audience. This problem only exists on Xbox, so it's not a priority, dozens of people have already stopped playing for this reason.

Lmao AGAIN when you scroll through the crash reports you can see PC steam users reporting crashes at save, launch, and other crashes I’ve also experienced, I’m just reporting the most frequent crashes for me. It’s not just Xbox it’s PlayStation and PC as well. Please scroll through the reports and read lol
I’ve also seen people on Reddit talking about this issue and other social media platforms where it’s not just Xbox.

To answer your question about is this crash ever going to be fixed, the answer is yes! The teams are actively investigating and working really hard to fix this. However due to the issue's complexity, as this issue is an Xbox-specific issue, it may take some additional time to find a solution 🙇♀️

Hai x im getting the same crash but only via xbox series s. My laptop doesnt get the problem oddly Second year after every sleep it will save and then crash. 🩷

I can confirm this happens on the steam deck. This bug occurs as part of the memory leaks with chests and the game simply running out of memory at a poor time...
Step 1: enable steam overlay stage 3 so you can monitor ram and vram usage.
step 2: Complete enough tasks during the day to where your rank will go from rank C to Rank B on village when you go to bed that night. (Do not sleep).
step 3: open and close chests until ram usage is as follows... Ram usage will read 14GB and Video Ram usage will read 3.7gb+
step 4: go to sleep.
step 5: the village will rank up, and then game will crash.
Step 6: I think there is something that happens between day and night that requires a little memory, and because I did not have enough the whole steam deck crashed.

First attempt it crashed after saving.
2nd it didn’t crash after saving but crashed mid gameplay while harvesting crops. I’ve given up hope on this game

So far so good! I can actually get back into my Xbox save now, and not crash every night when I go to bed, it crashes still here and there after saving, but it’s so much better than it was before, and I can actually get into my save and play so thank you!
