Now, I dont know how is supposed to be. Sometimes Im able to catch bugs/critters when it is already scaping if it is within my net range. BUT some others are impossible, even if they're close and in range. For me, it makes more sense if you can catch them even if they're running BEFORE they disappear. Look at these 2 videos, on one of them Im trying to catch a Venus's flower basket, and it start running in the moment i release the net (if you slow the video con can see that in exact moment i release the net is when it started running), but it is still green and in range of my net, but i cant catch it. now the second video is me catching a starfish, i make it run but YOU CAN catch it. I know that some of them are meant to be harder but i think its weird that for some you can catch while running and others no.

This exact thing happens with Cotton Candy Lobster, Tiger beetle and Rove Beetle to the point that i can only catch them with traps.

  • Reproduction Steps : Approach a bug or ocean critter, try to catch it, they notice and star running, now they are uncatchable.
  • Repro Rate : Everytime with some specific bugs and ocean critters.
  • Game Platform: Steam
  • Game Version : 1.1 - 1225
  • Input Mode: Xbox controller

Hi, I have another video that shows what im trying to explain here. As i stated this problem happens with some bugs and critters, the Cotton Candy Lobster have this problem too. So i made a video of me trying to catch this critter and, as you can see it runs and i active my net multiple times, the critter is green an all but i cant catch it.

I'm having this for all critters but it seems to be actually possible to catch the lower rarity critters. The more rare it is, the faster the bar fills, but it's MUCH faster after I got the tail.
