#Used Merit points to get Diving Elixir; Elixir vanished and no skill point was received.

Towards the end of my game day, I went to the community center and purchased the diving elixir. My character was shown receiving the elixir but did not consume it. It is no where to be found and I did not receive the skill point. I cannot repurchase the elixir because it says it is sold out... This is the first time this has happened for me. However my husband who plays on PC as well had the same thing happen today.

Input Mode: Keyboard and mouse

I was unable to locate the save file..

I think it has something to do if you buy too fast a second elixir but I can not test any further 😦

Work around that worked for me and others

  1. Go right after you wake up so you can reload if it fails
  2. Purchase the elixir
  3. Right click a bunch of times until the dialogue stops proceeding
  4. Left click ONCE to proceed the dialogue
  5. Right click a bunch of times until your player eats the fruit.

If they eat the fruit you should be good to go! Just double check that you got a mastery point for it
