#Carpenter location incorrectly triggered at beach house

Reporting this bc this was supposedly fixed a couple of hotfixes ago.

  • Reproduction Steps: went to give Jim an arapaima for the quest at the beach shack on a Saturday (the day of the spooky festival). He was sitting down at the table to the right most inside the beach shack & playing chess. When walking into him to give him the quest item, instead of giving him the item, it was as if I entered the Carpenter’s front door & I ended up at the Carpenter with a cutscene that’s supposed to happen there for that time of the day.
  • Repro Rate: happened once so far
  • Game Platform: steam (steam deck)
  • Game Version: v1.1-1225
  • Input Mode: controller (steam deck)
  • Your save file: can find if needed, but not sure how

Additional info: after the cutscene, I was returned to this same spot instead of being inside the carpenter’s.

Also not sure if it helps: the cutscene that triggered was the 2-heart event for Surya. After the cutscene was over, I found myself standing next to Jim in the beach shack again (as shown above). I tried walking into him again to give him the fish, then got another cutscene (Archie’s 2-hear event), then same thing happened where I got returned to the beach shack. I just left the shack after that to do something else since Jim seemed unable to be receiving the fish (I saw the “press X to give quest item” prompt show up above his head and tried to press X to give him the arapaima, but nothing happened).
