problem with city points

Hi, I have a problem with city points, I had 750 or something like that and I leveled up because I had to reach 800 and the next day was the harvest event and I won it and also the minigames, but it didn't add anything to me at all.

Merit points do not count toward town rank. They are only a currency used in the merit shop.

@thick nymph and how do I level up then? I thought that was it and I was going up.
