Crash when Taking Surya to the Salon

I had asked Surya to hangout at the salon for a spa day, but then the game detected corrupt data and crashed.

Now when I try opening my save file, the game immediately crashes. Happens always and cant access my most recent save

Playing on PC on Steam

Edit, it appears to crash when asking Surya to go to ANY hangout

Can you tell me your full activities before the crash happened? did you happen to have a video when this crash occurs on the latest version?

I had started the morning with my chores, harvested, planted, fed animals ect. Then I went to the lab to try the new hangout mechanic with Surya. The screen faded to black but a pop-up said the game encountered a fatal error. After restoring a backup I tried again outside in Starlet Town to hangout with Surya, but the pop-up happened again with the fatal error line.
