Are the insects that appear in the insect traps the same if I load up the same day over and over? I'm trying to get the Green Magnolia Jumper, and I have a shitload of traps to the left of my farm and all around the lake, but I had no luck. I also was a victim of the tool downgrade bug (With my net, specifically) and didn't notice until today, so trapping one the old fashioned way is getting tedious. I wanted to know if resetting the day will give me different bugs in the traps?

For the bugs I’m not sure. But it would need to be raining the day before you reload.
For your tools, did you go and see if you can retrieve the right ones from the beach shack?

Oh, I haven't checked the beach shack yet. And, wait, does it not appear the day that rains? Like, would the spider appear in the traps the day after it rains?

Traps are ‘loaded’ overnight, so the rainy day the bug spawns in the next morning would be potential one to reload to try and catch in trap BUT afaik / iirc traps DONT change via reloads
