Spouse relationship reset to 0

The relationship with my spouse (Rafael) was reset to 0, seemingly after the Harvest Festival in my 2nd year. I noticed sometime after the festival that he never came back home and he also couldn't be found anywhere on the map or in the list of NPCs. When I did find him, he introduced himself to me as if we'd never met, even though we had gotten married just two in-game weeks ago. Our relationship went from 10 hearts to 0 out of nowhere.

I play on PC, game version v1.1-1225, input mode is keyboard and mouse. I've attached my save file below.

Hi! The wedding was on Fall 1st, but unfortunately I don't seem to have the backup save for that day. The earliest backup save file I have is from the day right after the bug occured, which was Fall 15th.

Here is a zip file of all backup files I have in my backup folder right now, SaveBackup_0_6 being the earliest (Fall 16th).

I don't really remember much of the day but I do remember Rafael not being at the festival which is odd because I think he's usually supposed to be there?

In terms of detailed activities, I think I did my usual farm chores until it was time for the festival, so nothing out of the ordinary, that I can think of

Hmm, yes, he is supposed to be attending the Festival. Did you happen to try to search for Rafael in the list of NPC menu at that time?
And, did he appear in your house in the morning on the Harvest Festival Day?

I noticed him being gone the morning after the Harvest Festival, but because he would sort of come in and out of the house and do his own thing a lot of the time, I thought he must have gone back to the Blacksmith's for a while and I didn't actually notice him being gone from the NPC list until much later. After it had been days since he'd been home, I went to go check the NPC list and he was gone so I thought the game bugged out and straight up deleted him from the game, LOL. But when I stopped by the Blacksmith's, I found him there and talked to him and he introduced himself to me, which added him back to the NPC list, with 0 hearts now, resetting our relationship completely

My relationship/romance with Scott was pretty much full (married and working towards house for family) and then all of a sudden it's just wiped all my hearts/heart events and hard work back to square 1 no hearts nothing apparently not even married any more but house still says married (has the extra room for their stuff), but the relationship screen says single and not husband. I spoke and gave attention every morning before running around doing everything.

I gifted and hung out with him as often as I could, whilst still building friendships with other townies.

i also have the same problem. it occurred around 17, 18 spring year 3 ( i did some decorated in house, dont know if it related or not) and here all filed when i got this bug. you can tell me if you need more things. thx 🙂

yes, only that moved. i think its the next morning when woke up and cant find him

Oh, that quite hard. I collected all farm activities (harvested, ranched). Collect some critters and plants underwater. i guess i did some dino hologram too.

Hi! I don't remember well, maybe I might have placed a chest in the house? But I'm not sure if that was on the day of the festival.

Hmmmm, no, I think that was before then... memory's a bit hazy haha

But even if i did place a chest, it wouldn't have been through decor mode, so I think I probably didn't use decor mode on the day

I think I did, though I don't remember if it was before or after the bug occured, or if it was on the day. But I definitely used both house storage and decor mode a couple times between the wedding and now

I have the same situasion but with alice

It start at summer 16th of year 2 when i was talking to her at the doors, she suddenly getting the bugs dialog like "let me pass, please.. " and then she stuck until night.

when i came back doing daily activity,
I found her in her room's reading some book, I try to locate the NPC but nowhere to be found even thou she's Reading a book.

I decide to decorate my home move some stone chest n go to sleep hoping tommorow will be normal. the next morning she's gone n my relationship with her got reset.

I far as I remember, in the morning I talk to alice at the entrance n then i was blocking her way out to give her's favorite present. after that she was stuck at the entrance of the house saying "let me pass, please".

I still can hug/kiss her when she stuck at the entrance. So I just leave her alone like that n doing my daily task like pat my pets, take care of my animal, taking insect in traps, collecting some wild flowers around the map.

After the night time like 19.00 pm I think?, she already in her room reading some book so I just though it back to normal again. I try to locate the npc alice to make sure she's in my house but the map say she was outside the map. Like what?? She reading thou. So I just doing some decorating like move the stone chest at the bottom right. After that I just go to sleep, n the next morning my relationship with her reset to zero. Thats all I think can't remember much because I just doing another daily task the next day, after reset to zero I try to give her things she like untill I got 1 heart

I encounter a bug regarding the husband romantic heart: I married Theo during year 3, and after the wedding the heart that shows when I talk to him never cease to change its color. It doesn't affect the dialogues (he still has the dialogues specific to husband/wife) but the color is reset each time I interact with him (Talk, Gift, Hang Out, Kiss, Hug).

3. So it was right when I loaded on spring 16 but spring 17 was bugged I did the cave of memories and tended to animals

I just search my backup save file, but there is no save file for summer 16th. I already in fall 9th and i got the choice to have a baby at 28th summer. Maybe i just go with the flow. Can i still available to marriage again with another character?
