Reproduction Steps: My character just woke up the next day with 2 animal whistles in inventory. Backtracking letters, I dont see anyone gifted me the animal whistle. I dont recall buying another one as well.
Repro Rate: Happened once
Game Platform: Steam
Game Version: v1.1-1224
Input Mode: Keyboard and mouse
Ok I just noticed in my screenshot the hammer weapon was duplicated as well

just an fyi that as of the most recent update earlier today, my save's issue remain unresolved. i can sell the dupe hammer, but have no way of getting rid of the animal whistle unfortunately.

If you have a shed or a barn that you have yet to upgrade, you could put the whistle in a chest right next to it and then upgrade the building. (The Idea here is taking advantage of this bug: https://discord.com/channels/623097219628662784/1270769236414959678 which I have seen reported a few times)
