#Does the speed of Slime of Transmutation depends on the quality of the item?

For example, will it process a bronze cactus faster than gold cactus? Because in Coral Guide, it says that it takes 8hr to process cactus, while I only get 2 osmium cactus max when putting gold cactus.

Transmute means you're increasing quality for the item

#

Example
I put 2 bronze bars in to get 1 silver bar out
It transmuted the item

That will take the exact same amount of time if I put 2 silver bars in to get a gold bar out

@thorn dragon Thanks for replying, I believe what you say about bars to be correct, however I tried to use slime of transmutation on items. I am trying to test with gold ginseng and its supposed to only take 4hr to upgrade the quality.

Yep

It takes 8hr instead of 4hr like the coral guide suggested

Let me look at something quick. I think I know why it says that
