PS5 - The recipe book interface in the game keeps freezing and is slow to react.

Every time I access the recipe book menu, the interface keeps freezing and is slow to react, making the experience a bit tedious. It’s the same with all the recipe menus when entering or exiting the interface.

I have this issue in the cooking menu as well along with it not letting me cook the things I did have the proper ingredients for

Same here! Also the main cookbook with all of the recipes doesn’t always work for me because my ingredients aren’t detected. I will have to click cookbook, then R2 to the cooking implement, then it usually works. But it freezes a lot.

is there an update on this issue please? since it is still happening also in the most recent version, 100% of the time when using the cooking function, and it is a very frustrating issue.

Happens to me too. I find restarting ps5 helps but next time I open it. It freezes again

Same problem on the PS5 here. Thought it was a freezing issue at first but turns out it's just a long-ass load, around 15 seconds?

Game tends to crash sometime later if I access recipes too much too, so I avoid using it for now.
