#I can't use my silver axe to cut hardwood

I just upgraded my axe and I can't use it to cut hardwoods. I tired to re-join the game, or retrived lost tools from blacksmith shop but niether works for me. Now I have two silvers ax but non can cut the hardwood.

Is it on the farm or outside? I believe the farm one needs gold upgrade, but the ones in the forest work for the silver axe.
