Another thing that I think happened because of this was the cutscene for ||Karen announcing her mayoral campaign|| firing again when it already fired a month before.

You can actually do this with any NPC on their birthday. I've only tested it without giving them anything else in the week. I wonder what happens if you gift them beforehand in the week with one or 2 items prior.

usually only twice, the limit is usually working properly, just for some reason the game allowed me to give Millie 2 birthday gifts, as her text was for a birthday gift both times
