Using mousewheel-button/middle-mouse-button to take out a whole stack ("transfer whole" action) out of a chest does not trigger sorting when autosort is enabled (top left checkbox on chest UI)
Putting stuff into the chest with middle-mouse-button works as expected
Taking stuff out with left-mouse-button works as expected
This concerns every chest-type as far as I can tell
