You can. It goes by price, not quality. So if a gold item sells for more than an osmium item, you'll get more points for the gold one.

is there a list somewhere that may have some of the items and their values? can't find one on google that lists anything other than wines and fancy things that i do not have xD or a way to check the prices for each thing more easily?

so, why are there 2 charts, showing something like cauliflower to be worth 2 separate points?
i also went through the entire fest but closed the game because i lost points for lack of variety (did like... 4 pumpkins and 2 artisinal things?)

the two charts are the same. one is in alphabetical order, the other is in the same order as in the journal, depending on what's easier for you to search.
