Winter Festival: Match Pattern

When competing in the Match Pattern competition, one needs to copy the pattern using your Hoe. After the new update, energy is reduced as if you were to work on your farm. Is this something that should be happening?

Dear Ardian, unfortunately I do not have video material. Before I knew it, I fainted from exhaustion (as you cannot cancel mid-activity) and woke up in the house the next day (the 18th of Winter). I am sorry.
