Why is there a repeating cutscene in my game?

I keep seeing the same cutscene of Raina and Karen inviting townies for the Mayor's Election. Is my game broken? How can I stop this?

I’m wondering if you trigger a cut scene of them in one of the stores it will stop… I had duplicate cutscene with the giants and once I triggered the next one it stopped.

i can confirm that going into a store still doesn’t stop it. i haven’t had any of the in store ones repeat but the one that’s outside the community center still repeats a bunch. and the cutscene for getting the giants a disguise kept repeating too even after i went to the village to talk to them and only stopped after i completed that quest.

I have the same thing. After it saves my game, and before I get out of bed, I get that cutscene. Not every night, but at least 6 times now. I'm in Y2, Sp 5.

Having the same problem with my save.

Its not every night, but it does trigger when I walk out of my house or walk into the town area from my farm.

Seems to be every week once a week

Now that I'm at town rank A, instead of the "running for mayor" scene, I'm getting multiple viewings of ||the Pufferfish people leaving with their packages and Karen saying goodbye to this "backwater" town ...||
