Playstation 5 deep forest unlocked but path still blocked

I went to bed and got the cutscene for the deep forest getting unlocked after making enough offerings. It showed the little buttleflies flying around and removing the stone on the bridge and the other two blocked pathways being removed. It also shows in my town rank page that I have access to the deep forest and points for it. However upon waking up it is still blocked. Replayed the day, still blocked. Used back up saves, it is still blocked. I used different back up saves going days back each time it is tedious and annoying but upon putting enough offerings in, cut scene happens showing path being unblocked, town rank showing the activity of deep forest accessable etc but every time it is still blocked when i walk over there. All entrances blocked. Doesnt matter how I do it or which back up save I use it still happens. This is on Ps5. And Guess what the same thing happened on steam. So another game breaking bug on console that isn't getting any hotfixes because it is a console
